Meet Dr. Sinem Campbell DACM, L.Ac

Dr. Sinem Campbell received both her master’s and doctoral degrees from Pacific College of Health and Science. Prior to her interest in integrative medicine, she earned her B.Sc in Aerospace Engineering (Hons) and B.A in Physics concurrently from California State University Long Beach, completing her honors thesis in creating affordable and injectable scaffolds to grow cardiac stem cells. She then continued her graduate studies in Bioengineering and Cognitive Science at the University of California San Diego to further her understanding of biomedicine and neuro-dynamics holistically, which sparked her interest in Chinese Medicine and led her to the Pacific College of Health and Science - San Diego. After receiving her DACM and MSTOM in December of 2021, she is continuing to expand her knowledge in Canonical Chinese Medicine as well as 5 Element Acupuncture.

Outside of the clinical setting, Dr. Campbell is passionate about mixed martial arts, which has led her to further her training in orthopedic disorders and sports medicine. In order to increase the inclusion of the use of Chinese Medicine within the integrative medicine model and conventionalizing personalized medicine, Dr. Campbell dedicates time to Chinese herbology and acupuncture research through evidence informed practice and her extensive background in biomedicine.
